The CH5540H comes equipped with a 20 x 1.25 inch, 140 pounds dynamically balanced steel disc with four reversible chipper blades, easy feeding with a big 27" x 28" feed hopper and a 5.5" x 7" chipper opening that defies small side limbs, 360 degrees rotating 6" discharge chute. The power source is category 1, 3 point hitch.

The model has been popular in large avocado orchards because of its speed, reliability and performance. It is also a popular option for olive orchards as the powerful hydraulic feed roller can generally break any side limbs basically eliminating the need for much pruning. Farms and large lifestyle blocks with a lot of green waste have found this unit a winner as it produces a very small consistent size chip which is ideal for calf bedding or composting.

Ideally suited for use on tractors with PTO Horsepower ratings from 25hp–45hp. However they have also been a popular option on tractors with hp ratings up to 100hp. (Machine comes set up with Cat 1 pins)

If you own a tractor, and you are bringing the material to a collection site, a PTO chipper is a smart economic choice.
